Sometimes being kind feels downright impossible. It can be a struggle to love the unlovable.
But then I remember that He loves me through every one of MY unlovable moments,
through every mistake,
and even through every sin.
“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:”
Philippians 2:5
When I find myself face-to-face with an adversary, I will pray:
Lord, help me love this person with a Christ-like love. Soften my heart and let me see the good in them. And even if I can’t see anything good at first, help me love them anyway. I want to give love the way You shower me with Your love. Amen
